At this past weekend’s Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s own Sir Patrick Stewart was asked by a hopeful gentleman to be a witness as he proposed marriage to his girlfriend at Stewart’s autograph booth.
After the girl responds with an excited “yes!”, Sir Patrick congratulates the happy couple with an energetic “Engaged.”

Fans at this weekend’s Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention in Parsippany, New Jersey got a nice surprise when an unadvertised William Shatner appeared on Friday.
Shatner is at the convention not for a discussion panel or autograph session, but instead working as Executive Producer and Director for a new reality TV show, entitled Fan Addicts, which he’s developing along with Creation.

The folks over at Gameforge have posted a brief ‘Klingon for Beginners’ video tutorial to promote the upcoming free-to-play browser game Star Trek: Infinite Space. The game set in the era of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is scheduled to be released later this year.
So, pour yourself a tall glass of prune juice and get started with the Klingon language with the video embedded below.

Star Trek‘s original Spock, Leonard Nimoy stars in the new Bruno Mars music video “The Lazy Song (Official Alternate Version)”. The video released this week by Atlantic Records features Nimoy as a grumpy and (as the title implies) lazy older man laying around his house, walking around town in a bathrobe, buying milk and porn, and flipping off his neighbor, and even watching his buddy William Shatner on TV.

Yesterday, Brent Spiner, who (if you’re on this site, you probably know) portrayed Lt. Commander Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation launched his new comedy web series “Fresh Hell.”
Spiner announced the series through his official website and on his always active Twitter account @BrentSpiner.
